The manufacturers of transvaginal mesh kits for stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse regularly sponsor major events attended by gynaecologists, urogynaecologists and urologists. One such event will be taking place from 18th - 20th April 2012: the UK Continence Society (UKCS) 19th Annual Scientific Meeting 2012 in Liverpool.

The prospectus also explains how sponsors can assist with the “support of delegates to attend such educationally important Conferences”.
A highlight of the event is the Gala Dinner and Dance “when all the specialities get together along with the exhibitors and sponsors for a great networking evening“.
